Canada Helps Donation Webpage for BreastStrokes

    SPONSORS

Are you interested in helping to keep BreastStrokes afloat?

We appreciate assistance from all who wish to help us spread the message of hope to everyone living with breast cancer. As charitable organization we accept cash donations,  goods and services and the most valuable commodity ….time.

View our team rack card for details on how to add your support or e-mail us directly.

Special thanks to the people, organizations, and companies who have helped us reach our objectives since we began as a team in 1998. In other communities, dragon boating has become a major recreational activity for teams of all ages.

BreastStrokes is proud to participate in Charitable Gaming through the
Cambridge Bingo and Gaming Centre. This ongoing financial support allows us
to offer much needed programs and services.
When we come together we make things possible for our community.

Cambridge Bingo & Gaming Centre
is our major fundraiser/sponsor, and has been as of 2018

Through our team's participation by members assisting at the regular bingo games, the funds raised annually have helped:
- keep afloat our boat Dragonfly,
- with purchasing of team uniforms, new paddles and life jackets,
- pay professional coaching fees,
- pay registration fees for regattas, and
- keep our dock maintained and in good repair.
Our members say Thank You to CBG Cambridge Bingo & Gaming Centre!

UW logo Our Appreciation and Thank You to United Way Guelph Wellington Dufferin, which provides funding to programs offered by registered charitable organizations that address the social needs of our community.
Although not receiving any funding since 2017, BreastStrokes has been a grateful recipient of past years' UWGWD funding to help pay for team registrations and participation in regattas, professional coaching fees and required team equipment.

For BreastStrokes being the only team and boat in our area, has given us some special challenges. The support and assistance of these community groups and businesses have helped to keep our team afloat and to show there is life after breast cancer.
