    HONORARY LIFE MEMBERSHIPS    
   
Team members honoured with Honorary Life Memberships.

Criteria:
BreastStrokes at the pleasure of its members, may bestow an honorary membership upon any BreastStrokes Member, Supporter Member, or individual who has demonstrated extraordinary work or support toward the aims and objectives of BreastStrokes. 

Updated February 21, 2023 at AGM:
The criteria for an Honorary Member is as follows:

  • Must be a team member for a minimum of 10 years, and has made a significant contribution to the team.
  • Honorary Members pay no yearly membership fee.
  • Honorary Members may participate in team activities, signing waivers where required.
  • Non-Active Honorary members may speak at meetings but may not make
    motions or vote.
    Active Honorary members may speak at all meetings and may make motions and vote. Active members are defined as those members who are attending practises on a regular basis.
  • The honour is perpetual and can be published on official documents of the team even though the Member is deceased.
  • Honorary Membership may be revoked by the BreastStrokes Team at its’ discretion.
