PharmaSave Woodstock Rotary Dragon Boat Festival

This is a one-day, recreational dragon boat festival. It is sanctioned by Dragon Boat Canada as a Qualifying event for the Canadian Club Crew Championships.

Location: Pittock Conservation Area, Woodstock, Ontario

This is a public park and has a no-alcohol policy.
Charges will be laid for obvious open alcohol or unruly behavior.

Race Schedule

BreastStrokes' first race is the Breast Cancer Survivor Challenge
at 11:01 am.
Race #12, Lane 1.

We should marshall at 10:15 a.m.
Please be at team tent by 7:30 am - for lineups, warmup and safety briefing, etc.

Breast Cancer Ceremony will follow immediately after Race #12.
Flowers will be supplied by Woodstock event organizers.

Team roster for practice and races will be composed of a maximum crew of twenty-seven (27) crew members. One (1) team manager, twenty (20) paddlers, one (1) steersperson, one (1) drummer, four (4) spares. All register on one (1)  Festival team.
Steersperson will be provided should you not have a qualified steersperson. The Rotary Dragon Boat Committee reserves the right to substitute an experienced steersperson on race day if a proficient level of control is not demonstrated.

Teams using ineligible paddlers (not on their Team Roster) will be disqualified.
The Race Marshal reserves the right to check the crew members in the boat and the names recorded on the team roster prior to all races
